June 27, 2009
After our sound drenching last week, we are demanding sunny weather!  Despite the rain, our already loyal market-goers proved that Cortland is indeed ready for a family friendly, vibrant local market, and we can't thank you enough for demonstrating this fact -- rain or shine!

This week you can expect our vendors to offer the best of Cortland's bounty with some exciting additions as the growing season progesses.  Featured this week will be salad greens, kale, chard, collards, spinach, komatsuna, Chinese cabbage, garlic, strawberries, carrots, beets and scallions.  You can get locally raised grass-fed beef and pastured poultry, maple syrup products, jams, a variety of baked goods, fresh cut-flower bouquets, potted perennial and vegetable plants, herbs, all-natural soaps, and ecologically friendly home-cleaning products.  All grown or produced right here within 30 miles of Cortland!

Coffee Mania is kicking up the coffee service by bringing in their Coffee Kiosk from which you can order a variety of espresso drinks and killer coffees which have made them a local legend!

A variety of baked goods including breakfast scones and pastries will be available from Red Rose Farm, Shiloh Valley Farm and Edgewood Bakery and Farm.

Holistic Hands Therapeutic Massage and Aroma Therapy will be on hand for invigorating chair massages.

At 10:30 we are pleased to present Joe Arcuri playing upright bass and guitar.

Cornell Cooperative Extension Cortland County and Eat Smart New York will once again offer a food preparation demonstration and healthful, tasty treats made from seasonal produce.
