Here is what is needed in order to do home processed goods for the Market.
1) Have your water tested if you have well water. The test is $30 at Microbac. Pick up a sterile container from them (they are located on Rte. 11 between McGraw and Cortland, next to CNY Sports). Bring it back with your water in it (you will need to follow the directions they give you). You get a verbal report 48-72 hours after you drop off the sample and a written report in 5-7 days. Once you have the report you can call Allen Mozek.
2) Call Allen at 315-487-0852 to schedule a kitchen inspection. The inspector will come out and discuss the rules and regulations with you and issue you 20c exempt home processor certificate.
3) Make sure that you have the certificate at the market!
