Frosty Morning Farm is a small, 2 acre, certified organic farm and homestead run by Alison and Karl Frost. It's located within Common Place Land Co-op, a 432 acre intentional community situated on the south facing slope of Morgan Hill in Truxton, NY, Our farm grows a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, fruit, shiitake mushrooms and potted herbs and perennials. We sell to a CSA, two farmers markets and a food co-op. We sell dried herbs, herbal tinctures and salves and natural goat's milk soap. We raise registered Nubian dairy goats, our family's own organic poultry and meat rabbits and and use draft ponies for doing some of the farm work. We also use a rototiller, but everything else is done by hand. Our farm is a host farm for WWOOF-USA (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). http://www.wwoofusa.org/index.aspx We host volunteers from the US and around the world who want to learn about organic farming. We often bring our "Wwoofers" to the market with us. Right now, we are hosting Carolina from Galicia, Spain. You can meet her at the Wednesday markets through July 20th!
